ErasmusPRO is part of the mobility opportunities offered to students in the Education and Professional Training sector. This programme aims to allow students to have a professional experience abroad, in order to put the knowledge developed in the school context into practice in a working context.

Requirements

ErasmusPro is available for students enrolled in Education and Professional Training sector and recent graduates. If you finished your degree recently, you can take part in an ErasmusPRO internships up to 1 year after finishing your training.

Duration

ErasmusPRO internship opportunities have a minimum duration of 2 months and a maximum duration of 12 months, however it is necessary to take into account the requirements in terms of time, since interns must work full-time during the mobility period.

Destinations and Internship Locations

ErasmusPRO placements can be carried out in the programme countries which include the Member States of the European Union and the Republic of North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Serbia, Turkey and the United Kingdom (until December 2020).

The internship must be carried out at a Vocational Education and Training provider or in relevant host societies and organisations, so that students can combine the experience of the school context with a work experience.

Support

There are several types of support for interns, these include language support, financial support to be calculated according to the country where the internship is carried out and coverage of travel costs up to a maximum value defined by the distance between the country of departure and destination.

Application

To proceed with the application, it is necessary to contact the educational institution, some of which have already applied for the programmes and only have to select the participants, while others are not yet part of the programme. In this last case, any student may suggest that their institution make an application through the Erasmus+ platform.

It is added that the interns are recognised for the period abroad and a learning agreement will be signed between all the parties.
